Change 4 Life Activities for Parents & Children
Happy Days Play Den is happy to be hosting children's activities to promote the government initiative 'Change 4 Life'.
Children can enjoy a fun packed day which promotes:
- Exercise
- Interaction
- Healthy food
On departure parents will receive a free goody bag jam packed full of ideas & suggestions on how they can provide healthy meals, snacks & indoor & outdoor activities to get the whole family moving, eating well & living longer.
A morning or afternoon at happy days play den will look like this:
9.30 - Arrive - An opportunity for the children to explore the play frame and surrounding activities (we have a reading corner, home corner & much more).
10.00 - Creative Play - which will promote the importance of eating well & moving more (this can be taken home by the children)
10.30 - A health snack & drink
11.00 - Movement Game/Activity for example action songs & games
11.30 - Goody Bags
Parents are welcome to stay longer & take advantage of our cafe, which serves homemade food & a selection of hot & cold drinks.
We firmly believe that this event will help bring to life the government's message to families to get them to move more, eat well & live longer.
We can provide you with posters to advertise the event to your parents, risk assessments (if required) & you are welcome to come & have a look around beforehand.
The cost to your parents is just £1 per child, under 1's are free & If you book before 10th June 2010 we will give your playgroup a £5 voucher to spend, plus we will give you as the organiser a freshly ground Italian coffee & a slice of homemade cake!
